Job Summary:

TotalEnergies is seeking a highly skilled Back Office Analyst to join our Power Trading Support organization. As a Back Office Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing a portfolio of counterparties, ensuring accurate trading information, and contributing to the overall team's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of internal and external counterparts, ensuring accurate trading information is represented within our 'in-house' trading system.
  • Confirm deals with counterparts and brokers on a daily basis, ensuring timely resolutions to problems and queries.
  • Send invoices to counterparts within industry or contractual deadlines and submit payment instructions to finance in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile counterpart/TSO invoices against the BOOK and assist the Accounting team with accruals, aged debt reporting, and resolution.
  • Effective communications with numerous internal and external parties to ensure timely resolutions to problems and queries.
  • Contribute to the overall team responsibilities and goals, including assisting with the team's general duties such as emailing, archiving, and filing.
  • Participate in team and individual projects delegated by the Back Office Manager/Supervisor, such as the implementation of a new ETRM Support, identifying, and assisting in implementing process & systems improvement.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency under set deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Good IT skills, including Excel, VBA, Python, and Power BI.
  • Strong drive to improve processes and systems, with the ability to develop new tools to secure and optimize processes.
  • Fluency in French and English, with European languages desirable.
