Overview of the Role

  • This is an opportunity to grow our team with a highly motivated Senior Solution Engineer who will drive growth across our B2B, D2C, and B2C Commerce Cloud offerings. At Salesforce, we're proud to be the market leader in e-commerce solutions for eight consecutive years, revolutionizing commerce by providing detailed, customer-focused solutions built natively on our innovative and high-scale platform.

  • As part of the Solution Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in understanding our customers' needs and tailoring our Salesforce Commerce Cloud offerings to meet those needs optimally. You'll collaborate closely with our Commerce Sales teams across all industries to craft tailored solutions that address the outstanding needs of our diverse clientele.

  • You will develop deep solution expertise in our Commerce Cloud offerings across B2C, D2C, and B2B to become a leader with vision and trusted advisor to SEs, sales teams, and customers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Cultivate trusted relationships with various partners across sales, SE, sales programs, product, and product marketing to support the go-to-market strategy for Commerce Cloud.

  2. Lead technical discussions with various partners, from C-level executives to IT teams, articulating the value of our solutions.

  3. Direct customer engagements - You will work on business opportunities, from discovery to tailored demonstrations and presentations showcasing our solutions' value.

  4. Present our Commerce technology with deep familiarity of our B2C, D2C, B2B, and order management capabilities, ensuring confidence in our offerings.

  5. Understand and map customer goals to the Salesforce product portfolio, designing innovative solutions that address their challenges.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Shown experience as a solution/sales engineer ideally in Commerce or related technology fields; alternatively in Salesforce technology.

  • Strong passion for commerce solutions and technology.

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a creative and adaptable attitude.

  • Customer-centric attitude with the ability to empathize and understand customer needs.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Willingness to travel when required.

  • Fluency in English and German.
