Technical Expertise

The Electrical Power Converter Group at CERN requires a skilled Electrotechnical Technician to contribute to the development of power converters for advanced scientific instruments.

Key Tasks
  • Assembling equipment and participating in the wiring of hydraulic cooling systems.
  • Collaborating with project managers to resolve issues.
  • Documenting activities and their status.

This position offers the chance to develop electromechanical expertise and collaborate with a diverse range of teams.

Necessary Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in electrical/electro-mechanical assembly.
  • Proficiency in using machine tools and technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of French an advantage.
