As a research scientist at SonarSource, you will be part of an expert team of creative and passionate researchers working on cutting-edge AI and machine learning projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Staying up-to-date with advancements in LLMs for code and text in industry and academia
- Experimenting with existing LLMs to test strengths and weaknesses
- Discussing and qualifying new innovation opportunities for our products leveraging LLMs
- Prototyping and evaluating new AI-powered product features for developers
Requirements:
- University degree and proficiency in understanding academic papers
- Good understanding of LLM architecture and building blocks
- Hands-on experience with using and deploying LLMs
- Solid programming skills to automate tasks and build proof-of-concept code
- Ability to design unbiased evaluation protocols using model evaluation metrics
- Familiarity with state-of-the-art prompt tuning and engineering
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, and ability to explain complex technical topics
