About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at DSM. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical proficiency, business acumen, and customer-centric focus within the field of coagulation diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand market presence in coagulation diagnostics.
  • Utilize extensive technical knowledge and product expertise to effectively communicate the value proposition of our solutions to customers.
  • Oversee technical requirements and validation processes for coagulation diagnostics products, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and customer expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with our R&D team and key stakeholders to identify market trends and customer needs, address technical inquiries, and drive product adoption.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive product development initiatives and contribute to ongoing innovation within the coagulation diagnostics field.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant scientific discipline; advanced degrees are preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales within the coagulation diagnostics industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and cultivating long-term client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of coagulation diagnostics reagents and/or diagnostics kits.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages spoken within the European region are a plus.
