Key Responsibilities

As a key member of the FIVE Zürich Switzerland finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our revenue reporting. This includes reviewing and verifying all night audit reports, ensuring that all revenues are properly recorded and accounted for with the respective account codes.

You will also be responsible for preparing daily revenue reports and sending them to executives and heads of department for review and approval. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and controlling safe box keys and credit card passwords issued to departments.

You will need to conduct surprise cash floats at least once a week, and at the end of every month, to ensure that all cash and credit card transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled with our PMS and POS systems.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in hotel management or accounting, and at least 4-5 years of previous experience working in a hotel environment. You will also need to be highly organized, have excellent communication and leadership skills, and be able to work well under pressure.

Computer literacy is a must, and knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM, and SUN System is an asset. You will need to be able to work with different business stakeholders across multiple functions in a dynamic environment, and have a positive, proactive outlook and a hardworking and outgoing personality.
