About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned General Counsel to lead our legal function and provide strategic counsel to our senior management team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing our global legal risks and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Lead the development and implementation of our global legal strategy, including the management of outside counsel and advisors.
- Provide strategic counsel to our senior management team on legal, regulatory, and governance matters.
- Oversee the management of our global legal risks, including compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Design and implement effective compliance management systems to mitigate regulatory risks.
- Support the development of our company's ESG strategy and ensure compliance with Swiss and EU regulatory requirements.
- Act as Corporate Secretary to our Board of Directors and Board Committees.
- Coordinate and prepare the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.
- Ensure compliance with SIX listing and disclosure requirements.
About You
- Minimum 10 years of legal experience, preferably in a public company.
- Master's degree in Law.
- Bar Admission / Admission as an Attorney (preferably Swiss Qualified).
- Excellent knowledge of SIX regulations.
- Experience in M&A and negotiation.
- Inclusive leadership style and experience in an international environment.
- Excellent knowledge of English, verbal and written.
