Our expertise lies in designing and manufacturing Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs) for clients operating in cutting-edge sectors such as Quantum Technologies, LiDAR, Space Technologies, and Biosensors.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in bridging research and development to product implementation. The position of Electronics Quality Assurance Specialist is an exciting opportunity for those passionate about working with state-of-the-art equipment and contributing to the growth of a fast-paced industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Efficiently sort chips from wafers to trays using automated or manual equipment, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Conduct thorough quality control and visual inspections using an optical microscope and digital camera, identifying any defects or irregularities.
- Generate detailed reports following quality control procedures.
- Handle and package sorted chips in a clean room environment, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Manage stock levels of raw materials and fabricated goods, optimizing inventory and minimizing waste.
- Provide technical support to the engineering team, leveraging your problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues.
- Meticulous attention to detail, cleanliness, tidiness, and a strong work ethic.
- A technical education or equivalent experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of electronics and quality assurance principles.
- A genuine passion for technology and a willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment and processes.
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment, tool operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.
- The ability to execute tasks independently with minimal supervision, showcasing self-motivation and initiative.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
- A valid work residence permit for Switzerland or EU citizenship.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Estimated salary: CHF 60,000 - CHF 80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. This figure is based on industry standards, taking into account the location and the required skills.
