About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual with expertise in kitchen operations, food preparation, and service standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for mastering recipes, utilizing kitchen equipment safely, and maintaining high-quality food storage areas. They will also oversee regular inventories, adhere to HACCP standards, and guide students and trainees throughout meal services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Master recipes and techniques to prepare and serve menus, ensuring high quality and consistency.
  • Utilize kitchen equipment correctly and safely, maintaining clean and organized storage areas.
  • Oversee regular inventories to ensure efficient stock compliance with food quality standards.
  • Adhere to HACCP standards and food safety protocols.
  • Guide students and trainees throughout meal services.

Requirements & Skills:
To be considered for this role, you must have a CFC culinary arts diploma or equivalent. Preferably, you should have 5 years of professional experience in a similar role, with expertise in kitchen operations, food knowledge, and HACCP standards. Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure are essential. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of French is a plus.

Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of CHF 58,000 per annum, commensurate with your experience.
