**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management Specialist EMEA to join our Data Management team. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in managing and ensuring the quality of R&D biology data. Your efforts will ensure that high-quality data is generated, captured, analyzed, and visualized efficiently, enabling our R&D teams to make critical decisions for FMC's portfolio.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Data Quality Control**: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of experimental protocols and resulting biology data.
- **Data Management**: Manage data entry, identify automation opportunities, and improve interfaces between systems to ensure quality publishing in internal databases.
- **Technical Support**: Provide database query and analysis/visualization support using internal software applications.
- **Training and Troubleshooting**: Develop and deliver training materials, provide presentations, and individual discussions to help peers understand custom applications.
- **Application Ownership**: Collaborate with Application owners to ensure applications work as expected, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a backlog for additional enhancements.
- **Project Ownership**: Oversee planning and execution of small projects, typically proof of concept for new enhancements related to our applications.
**Requirements**
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel), Power Query, Power BI, SQL, and statistical software.
- Experience with Electronic Laboratory Notebooks, Spotfire, or similar data storage and visualization tools.
- Familiarity with ARM.
- Strong follow-up and communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience working with large datasets and integrating different systems/software.
- Background or knowledge in Agricultural Science, Biology, or related Life Sciences.
- Proficient English speaking skills.
