Senior Product Manager for Medical Devices

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to spearhead the development of innovative medical devices, focusing on spinal arthroplasty and related technologies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from market evaluation and development to launch and ongoing support.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis, evaluating market dynamics, competitor activity, and emerging trends.
  • Identify key market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them, ensuring the company remains competitive.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive business plan, aligning with the company's overall strategy.
  • Support R&D activities, providing critical marketing input throughout the product development process.
  • Create and implement successful launch strategies for products within the portfolio, driving market adoption and revenue growth.
  • Manage ongoing product support and updates, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare product forecasts, monitor inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Implement effective sales and training support, ensuring the sales team is equipped to drive revenue growth.
  • Provide field team support, including attending surgeries, promotional visits, and training sessions.
  • Track competitor activity, maintain up-to-date marketing materials, and inform the sales team of key developments.
  • Ensure sales tools align with market needs, making necessary updates to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Maintain open communication with the field team, providing necessary support and resources.
  • Collaborate with the marcom team and external agencies to execute the advertising plan for the product line.
  • Keep internal teams informed of product updates, new developments, and market trends.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Product Manager in the medical devices sector, with a strong understanding of spinal arthroplasty and related technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or engineering, with a strong foundation in market research and analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously, with a focus on delivering results-driven solutions.
  • Willingsness to travel, potentially extensively, depending on product development phase.
  • Solution-driven, customer-focused, and entrepreneurial spirit, with a passion for driving business growth.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in French and English, with additional languages an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong understanding of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
