Finance Internship Opportunity

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Incyte's Industrial team as a Finance Intern. As a key member of our team, you will assist in the month-end close process, learn about SOX controls, and conduct company analysis. This internship is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the monthly close process by recording monthly accruals, reconciling accounts, and reviewing data for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages.
• Verify inventory movements and partner with Tech Ops to streamline and improve the inventory subledger reconciliations vs third-party stock files.
• Enhance and automate purchase price variance process.
• Perform data analysis and implement quality enhancements.
• Assist with the annual physical stock counts.
• Partake in the annual standard cost revaluation exercise.
• Prepare SOX control and maintain ongoing support documentation.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• In the process of completing a Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Finance or a related field.
• Strong accounting knowledge; experience with inventory control a plus.
• Advanced Excel and data mining skills.
• Experience with SAP a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in both English and French.
• Business partnering mindset.
• Strong team player with good interpersonal skills.
