Siemen Mobility AG, a leading provider of mobility solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Certification Engineer to join our team in Switzerland. As a key member of our "Locomotives Engineering" department, you will be responsible for creating vehicle control systems for Siemens locomotives and ensuring their compliance with European approval frameworks.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Create certification evidence for vehicle control systems, focusing on train safety, data recorders, and train communication.
- Manage requirements to ensure timely availability.
- Collaborate closely with system engineering departments, certification authorities, suppliers, and evaluation bodies.
- Take responsibility for timely and complete evidence provision.
- Develop work processes and align evidence strategy with product needs and regulations.
About You:
- You have a technical degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or mechatronics.
- You have several years of professional experience in the rail vehicle sector.
- You are familiar with the European certification process for rail vehicles and complex normative and legal foundations.
- Ideal candidates have knowledge of European train control systems.
