Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Associate to join our team at the University of Zurich. As a key member of our research team, you will play a crucial role in supporting daily R&D tasks related to primary cell culture work and molecular biology assays.About the Role
This position involves conducting research experiments, planning and executing studies, reporting and presenting research results, and maintaining laboratory equipment. If you have experience in planning, this may also include literature research to inform study design. Your expertise in aseptic cell culture methods, primary cell cultivation, and standard molecular biology techniques such as qPCR, Western Blot, and immunostaining will be essential in delivering high-quality results.Your Profile
To succeed in this role, you should hold a B.Sc./Laboratory Technician degree or equivalent, with a strong background in molecular biology and laboratory techniques. Experience working in an interdisciplinary team environment is highly valued, as is your ability to work under time pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and proficiency in English are essential, with German being an advantage. A valid work permit for Switzerland is required.What We Offer
