Role Overview

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver value-add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional, and consistent manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage sourcing initiatives in the Marketing Services area, including commercial, operational, and legal aspects, in close collaboration with clients and relevant experts.
  • Manage a challenging role in a dynamic and fast-paced environment for multiple client accounts.
  • Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure.
  • Define and execute negotiation strategies to secure value-adding deals for clients.
  • Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Control and execute tenders (RfX) in close cooperation with internal and external partners.
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
  • Estimate risks and apply risk-minimizing techniques.
  • Collaborate on global procurement strategies and implement regional requirements.

Requirements

  • University degree in marketing or business administration.
  • Ideal additional education in the field of procurement, (M)CIPS preferred.
  • 5-10 years of Marketing Sourcing experience with strong knowledge in sub-categories such as Media & MarTech, Brand, Creative & Content, Communication & Research, Live Marketing & Sponsoring, Marketing Material.
  • Service-oriented mindset and willingness to contribute actively in a dynamic environment.
  • Senior stakeholder management.
  • Secure command of e-sourcing tools (SAP Ariba, Jaggaer) is an advantage.
  • Ability to lead negotiations on the client's behalf.
  • Good analytical and conceptual skills and quick understanding of complex content, figures, and interfaces.
  • Understanding of technologies, processes, tools, as well as contractual and legal aspects of Marketing.
  • Proactive, pragmatic, target-oriented, and assertive personality with strong communication, excellent negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • High level of passion and commitment for the sourcing function.
  • Team player with high social competence and a winning personality.
  • Business fluency in German and English. French would be an advantage.
