Nanny for a Family of Two Children

Job Description:

Lampentasche GmbH is a specialized nanny agency in Switzerland. We are looking for an open-minded nanny for an international family with two children aged 4 and 5. The family resides in an upscale environment and requires a nanny who can work professionally and comfortably in this setting.

The family has recently moved to Switzerland and spends their free time in Spain or the Engadin. The start date will be upon agreement and the nanny's availability. The family lives centrally in Schwyz.

Responsibilities:

  1. This position requires flexibility in terms of working hours and the ability to enjoy a non-traditional work environment.
  2. The nanny will drive the two children to pre-school and kindergarten in the morning.
  3. After drop-off, the nanny is free to organize their day as they see fit.
  4. The children will be picked up in the afternoon, and the nanny will organize activities based on their desire and mood, incorporating playful learning tasks to improve their language skills.
  5. The nanny will also accompany the children during their evening routine.
  6. The nanny will provide general support to the family as needed.

Requirements:

  1. A reliable, passionate, structured, and proactive person with a warm nature who enjoys being part of a family.
  2. A high degree of flexibility is required for this position.
  3. Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate transparently and openly.
  4. A sporty person who loves the mountains and is willing to spend time outdoors in all weather conditions (skating, skiing, tobogganing, etc.).
  5. Various professional backgrounds are conceivable, including pedagogical training, such as a specialist in childcare (FABE)/class assistant/kindergarten teacher, or experience as a nanny, mother, or student with an affinity for pedagogy.
  6. A driving license is a significant plus, as the nanny will be expected to drive the family car.
  7. German or English mother tongue level is required, with a very good knowledge of English if German is the mother tongue, to communicate with the mother.
