BMK Recruitment is a leading recruitment agency that specialises in IT infrastructure roles. We are currently looking for a skilled Junior System Administrator to join our team.

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

This is a permanent position that involves planning and managing small projects, assisting with the planning and execution of larger projects, and providing first, second, and third-level support by phone and on-site. The ideal candidate will have experience with server, storage, and network architectures, as well as familiarity with virtualization (Hyper-V and Azure).

The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining and improving IT services such as monitoring, backup, etc., and implementing SLA agreements for both Cloud and OnPrem environments.

Requirements
  • At least 2 years' experience managing and maintaining IT infrastructures
  • Experience with server, storage, and network architectures
  • Familiarity with virtualization (Hyper-V and Azure)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 platforms
  • Ability to work independently, reliably, and accurately
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus
  • Enthusiastic and creative when approaching new challenges
  • Valid driver's license
  • A strong team player
  • Fluent in German and English
