Optical Sensing Specialist for Wound Monitoring

In this context, we are looking for a skilled optical sensing specialist to join our team and contribute to the development of wearable devices for monitoring wound healing.
The successful candidate will design and develop novel fluorescent-based detection approaches for the continuous monitoring of wound healing. This will involve working with various materials and techniques, including surface functionalization chemistries, spectrophotometric analysis, and analysis of release kinetics.
About the ProjectThe project aims to develop a precision, self-care integrated system to completely understand, simulate and monitor skin wound evolution, with the ultimate aim to treat and even prevent chronic wounds. We will couple an in vitro analytical, omics-based platform to self-care wearables for spatiotemporal wound monitoring and patient-specific, timely wound treatment.
