Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Solutions Engineer to join our team at RMIT Professional Resources AG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that meet the needs of our clients in the Energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a technical specialist, discussing requirements and implementing solutions with the internal development team
- Support end users by analyzing and resolving open issues, including participation in on-call duties
- Coordinate application integration with the internal integration team
- Ensure that applications meet stakeholder needs in terms of functionality, reliability, compliance, and scalability
- Contribute to relevant projects and ensure alignment with business and IT strategies
- Stay updated on IT best practices and continuously improve methodologies, processes, and tools
Requirements:
- Experience in an agile IT/technology environment
- Strong business and technical expertise
- Proficiency in database technologies, particularly Oracle and PL/SQL, with programming and scripting skills
- Knowledge of AWS Cloud Technology and the energy sector is a plus
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical or engineering discipline
- Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken, knowledge of German and French is an advantage
