Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) System in collaboration with the PLM central team from Bologna, across Hapa and Atlantic Zeiser for life cycle management of machines, assemblies, mechanical and electrical parts.
- Definition and implementation of interfaces to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP, and other business software.
- Roll out a repository tool and deployment workflow in coordination with all software teams at Hapa and Atlantic Zeiser to improve collaboration possibilities, reduce software generation time, and enhance accessibility and security standards.
- Implement a deployment environment where software prototypes and software architecture with complicated infrastructure can be tested in a flexible yet secure way.
- Implement simple interfaces and coordinate with external developers the interface required between different engineering applications and business applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology, computer science, or engineering.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in the customization and deployment of engineering applications for software, hardware, or machine products.
- Experience with interface development between business and engineering applications.
- Basic software development experience with Java and XML/JSON interfaces.
- Network and system administration experience.
- Willingness to travel to Hapa's locations in Zurich, Atlantic Zeiser in Germany, and Amaco in Austria, and to other Coesia companies and customers in Europe and North America.
- Experience with PLM tools, such as PTC Windchill, is considered a plus.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and JIRA is also considered a plus.
- English and German proficiency.
