Key Responsibilities

This is where you come in.

  • Develop complex electronics for battery-powered surveying instruments, covering the entire lifecycle from requirements engineering to series production.
  • Design sophisticated circuit layouts using ECAD and simulation tools.
  • Implement embedded sensor software in C/C++ for peripheral MCUs or application processors, focusing on Power Management, HMI, IMU, and camera modules.
  • As a project manager, oversee the development of solutions, coordinating the expert group and enabling interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Specify equipment for external development partners, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Contribute to the technology roadmap as a gatekeeper or expert group member, driving innovation and carrying out technology projects.
Requirements

  • A degree in electronics/electrical engineering or a similar field, with a master's degree if applicable.
  • At least 10 years of experience in electronic design development with embedded software.
  • Knowledge of SI/PI simulation and thermal management is an advantage.
  • Experience in innovation projects as a project manager, with a broad system understanding.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with external development partners.
  • A networked and highly entrepreneurial mindset.
  • A positive attitude with a very independent way of working.
  • Proficiency in English and German, both spoken and written.
