Videographer (m/f/x) - Creative Marketing Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Videographer to join our international marketing team at Oettinger Davidoff AG in Basel, Switzerland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality video content that showcases our premium cigars and accessories.

Responsibilities
  • Produce engaging brand, product, and corporate videos by shooting and editing with reviews at critical points.
  • Design and animate compelling motion graphics for web and social media audiences.
  • Work closely with the brand management team, fellow videographer, and social media manager on video style, strategy, and storyboarding.
  • Finding creative solutions to shooting videos in a highly regulated environment while still producing professional content with a unique and luxurious appeal.
  • Ensure all filming equipment is ready and in proper working order.
  • Prepare social media graphic assets (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) for various desktops and mobile devices.
  • Upload and organize assets in the digital asset management system according to guidelines.
  • Contribute to an interdisciplinary team of designers, business, and brand strategists, ensuring design specifications are implemented globally.
  • Stay up-to-date and generate new ideas to draw audience's attention.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a design-related discipline or completed apprenticeship, advanced training, or experience in audio-visual communication.
  • 3+ years of in-depth design experience of pictures, with an emphasis on motion graphics and video editing/creation for B2B and B2C applications, preferably e-commerce, e-learning, rich web apps/sites, mobile devices.
  • Knowledge of web-based technologies and their impact on the feasibility of design solutions, including the capabilities and limitations of social media platforms.
  • Strong ability to quickly grasp brand strategies, identities, and visual appearances, being able to translate them into clear ideas, concepts, and designs of creative assets from beginning to end.
  • Ability to manage constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • Work experience in a cross-functional team.
  • A keen eye for aesthetics, details, and accuracy.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, German is highly desirable, French is a plus.
  • A background in working within a highly regulated environment with a sensitivity to comply with data protection regulations is a plus.
  • Strong portfolio that demonstrates creative video and graphic design skills and thinking.
