About the RoleThis role involves overseeing the planning and execution phases of automation, ensuring effective collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and external partners. You will develop and implement process automation concepts, focusing on Level 1 & Level 2 automation solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in achieving aligned objectives and ensuring compliance with quality, budgeted costs, deadlines, and regulatory requirements within your defined area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the automation scope of the project, including oversight of the planning and execution phases.
- Lead a team of external planners to ensure effective collaboration and successful execution of technical objectives.
- Develop and implement process automation concepts, with a focus on Level 1 & Level 2 automation solutions.
- Work cross-functionally with interdisciplinary teams and external partners, including production, MSAT, R&D, IT, OT, and quality assurance, to achieve aligned objectives.
- Support the project from conceptual planning to commissioning, adhering to industry standards and guidelines.
- You hold a university degree in engineering, specializing in automation, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
- You bring hands-on experience with the Siemens automation stack, including OpCenter.
- You have proven expertise in implementing PAT, data historian, and MES solutions in chemical-pharmaceutical API production plants.
- You have several years of experience as an independent automation discipline lead within large-scale projects.
- You possess in-depth knowledge of GMP qualification requirements in the chemical-pharmaceutical industry.
- You have strong problem-solving skills, with analytical thinking and proven ability to address complex technical challenges in industrial settings.
- You have prior project management experience and a demonstrated ability to oversee timelines and deliverables.
- You show high resilience and flexibility when working in a fast-paced, technical environment.
- You have excellent language skills, fluent in German and English, with English being the primary project language.
- You demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills to ensure team alignment and technical success.
- A competitive salary of €90,000 - €120,000 per year, depending on experience.
