The Group Public Reporting Specialist will be responsible for delivering quality reporting products to all external stakeholders. This includes preparing and reviewing financial disclosures, performing accuracy reviews, conducting financial data reviews, and collaborating with other departments to perform internal control activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities of this role include:
- Expert use of advanced features in Office 365 products, particularly MS-Excel and MS-Word.
- Preparation and review of financial disclosures, including notes to the quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Accuracy Review: performance of detailed checks to ensure the accuracy of externally reported information.
- Financial Data Reviews: conducting quarterly and ad-hoc reviews of reported internal financial data.
- Certent Disclosure Management Tool business partner: assisting various functions in developing, creating, and managing their reports.
- Internal Control Activities: collaborating with other ABB departments to perform internal control activities and review individual financial statement notes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- A recognized accounting designation is preferred but not required.
- At least 3 years of experience in a public accounting firm or a major multi-location international company.
- Strong interest in technology, proficiency in MS-Excel programming, and expert-level MS-Word functionality awareness.
