Join Our Team as an Operational Material Management Specialist

We're looking for an Operational Material Management Specialist to join our MSAT Biologics team in Visp. As a key member of our team, you'll focus on raw materials and single-use materials, ensuring harmonization among our Business Units and contributing to the development of our material management procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate raw material topics, ensuring harmonized procedures and sharing best practices among different technologies in Lonza Biologics at Visp.
  • Collaborate with Global MSAT and site Quality, Supply Chain, and Logistics to maintain and develop raw material management systems in line with global guidance, ensuring regulatory compliance and efficiency.
  • Support MSAT teams with raw material topics, reviewing and approving deviations and changes related to raw materials.
  • Develop and maintain a training program to ensure MSAT can perform assigned raw material tasks.
  • Monitor and develop the performance of raw material processes.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Biotechnology or a scientific discipline (Chemistry/Engineering/Analytics/Biochemistry).
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience as an MSAT Operational Material Management Specialist.
  • Experience in biopharma manufacturing.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills.
  • Team player able to work independently in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, German is an advantage.
