Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Inventa Projects (Switzerland) AG. This role involves working in a dynamic and innovative environment, collaborating with experienced professionals to develop and implement new processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analytics and Synthesis: Conduct experiments and analyze results to develop new processes and products.
  2. Laboratory Equipment Maintenance: Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  3. Experiment Setup and Monitoring: Set up and monitor experiments to collect data and achieve desired outcomes.
  4. Data Recording and Entry: Record data from experiments in a lab journal and enter it into a computer for further analysis.
  5. Material Handling and Safety: Prepare solutions and work with hazardous materials, such as acids and other chemicals, while maintaining a safe working environment.
  6. Stockroom Duties: Perform general cleaning, waste management, and other tasks as assigned.
  7. Supply Procurement: Obtain necessary supplies or equipment as required.
Requirements
  1. Education and Background: Necessary education/scientific knowledge/background in chemistry.
  2. Experience and Skills: Experience in analytical equipment and general laboratory equipment, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  3. Language Proficiency: Fully competent in German and English preferred.
