We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Germany. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling chemistry services to bring in and close new orders, managing existing client relationships, and acquiring new client accounts.
Key Responsibilities:- Selling chemistry services to bring in and close new orders
- Account management and continued development of existing clients
- Acquisition of new client accounts
- Liaison with project management and scientific staff within business units
- Translate market & territory surveys into business plans
- Contribute to development of market segment strategies to match the growing portfolio of businesses within the division
- Development of strategy with clients and business units aimed at improving overall business process
- Management of sales budget
- Degree (BA or BSc) in a life science discipline, preferably chemistry or chemical engineering
- At least 5-7 years of experience within the pharmaceutical or life science sectors
- Experience of sales in a highly competitive environment
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Work effectively in a multi-functional and multi-cultural team
- Fluent in German and English
- A dynamic working environment
