About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at Johnson Electric. As a Regional IT Security Expert, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our company's critical infrastructure and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a robust patch management strategy to ensure all IT & OT systems are up to date with the latest security patches.
  • Collaborate with IT and OT departments to align patching schedules and minimize disruptions.
  • Monitor patching cycles and verify the successful deployment of patches across systems.
  • Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
  • Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause.
  • Manage the TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) certification process for the region, ensuring all sites will comply with TISAX standards.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, including TISAX self-audits, to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Implement and manage cybersecurity solutions for manufacturing environments, such as Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) devices.
  • Train staff on cybersecurity best practices.
  • Be part of a multinational SOC (Security Operation Center), managing and checking threats and vulnerabilities with a follow-the-sun schedule.

Requirements:

  • University degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Ideally 3+ years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Proficient English language skills - knowledge of French is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with regulations and standards such as FDA, GDPR.
  • Knowledge of TISAX certification and the ability to navigate its assessment and compliance processes.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and mitigate potential threats.
  • Communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.
  • Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Relevant certifications such as GICSP, CISSP, or other relevant cybersecurity certifications are a plus.
