Indirect Tax Specialist

Sound United, a leading global audio innovator headquartered in Neuchatel, Switzerland, is seeking an Indirect Tax Analyst to join its international finance and accounting operations.

About the Role

This position is part of the Finance team covering the Swiss International principal company and International sales entities across Europe, Middle East, Latin America and Asia. The Indirect Tax Analyst will handle all necessary indirect tax compliance in these jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare VAT returns for multiple international jurisdictions, ensuring accurate reconciliation with accounting records and timely filings to authorities.">
• Manage intrastat and intra-community transactions, maintaining accuracy and efficiency in data processing.">
• Liaise with external consultants on indirect tax matters, including new regulations and jurisdiction-specific requirements.">
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address business impacts and changes related to indirect taxes.">
• Provide operational guidance to business and finance functions, facilitating successful go-to-market projects while managing indirect tax aspects of new initiatives.">
• Maintain and update process documentation to ensure seamless tax compliance.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• A degree in Accounting or Finance.">
• Experience in ERP transitions and/or Oracle E-business tax, which would be advantageous.">
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in indirect taxes within a multinational environment.">
• A proactive approach, excellent teamwork skills, reliability, and hands-on expertise.">
• The ability to adapt to changing business requirements and communicate effectively with colleagues.">
• Advanced Excel skills and a general understanding of ERP systems.">
• Fluency in English (both written and verbal), with proficiency in a second language considered beneficial.">
