Pilatus Aircraft Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team in Manno, Switzerland.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Design Engineer to develop innovative design solutions for aircraft structures, system integration, and concept studies. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading design projects, creating 3D models, and supporting the improvement of design guidelines and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing new design solutions for aircraft structures and system integration
  • Leading design projects and sub-projects from concept to feasibility studies
  • Modeling 3D parts and assemblies using Siemens NX
  • Creating drawings for manufacturing and installation
  • Supporting the improvement of design guidelines and standards
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master degree in mechanical engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of design experience in the aerospace industry
  • Previous experience in wing primary structure and landing gear design is an advantage
  • Experience in leading multidisciplinary and multicultural teams
  • English language skills at C1 level, with Italian knowledge as an advantage
  • Proactive and persistent approach, with a high sense of responsibility
