We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team as a System Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, secure, and high-availability operation of our IT systems.
As a System Manager, you will manage critical IT infrastructure, collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and contribute to IT projects that enhance our operational capabilities.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage VMware vSphere infrastructure, Red Hat Linux servers, Windows servers/Active Directory, recent Backup software, Microsoft Cloud/Azure local, Hyperconverged Systems, and DevSecOps infrastructure
- Provide Service Desk support to internal users and customers
- Maintain and update related procedures, technical documentation, and plans
- Proceed with IT Business Recovery Plan (regular testing and in case of Security Incident)
We are looking for a degree holder in IT Engineering (specialization in Systems Management) or equivalent with at least 6 years of experience in IT Systems Management, ideally within a banking environment in Switzerland.
You should have expertise in managing virtualized environments, including VMware vSphere 7+, Windows Server 2019+, Active Directory, and Red Hat Linux 8+ within a secure data center environment.
A strong understanding of IT security principles, risk management, and business continuity planning in financial services is also required.
