About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team at SCHOTT Pharma as a Documentation Expert and Central Knowledge Hub.

Job Description
  • You will be responsible for creating, structuring, standardizing, and maintaining technical documentation for SCHOTT Pharma machinery.
  • You will support projects, internal departments, and suppliers in activities related to technical documentation.
  • You will manage technical documentation in R&D and Global Engineering – SCHOTT Pharma's central machine provider.
  • You will establish a translation management system for technical documentation.
  • You will develop an incoming documentation process.
  • You will account for internal, legal, and normative requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical education (Bachelor degree or similar)
  • Training or education in Technical Writing, Technical Documentation, or similar
  • ≥ 3 years of specific experience in preparation of technical documentation/technical writing
  • Excellent communication skills with interactions with a large internal and external network
  • Knowledge of international laws and standards concerning machinery and technical documentation
  • Advanced skills in tools like Adobe FrameMaker/Illustrator/Photoshop and MS Office
  • Good command of German and English language (written and spoken)
