About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Sustainable Solutions Expert to join our team. As a key member of our environmental management department, you will play a crucial role in implementing approval and notification procedures in accordance with the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) and preparing associated application documents.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Implementation of approval and notification procedures in accordance with BImSchG and preparation of associated application documents;
  
• Handling of official inquiries and inspections;
  
• Training, information, and advice to companies on environmental protection issues, particularly on matters relating to BImSchG and associated legal and administrative provisions;
  
• Preparation of annual environmental reports in accordance with legal requirements;
  
• Deadline tracking and planning of emission measurements required by licensing law with corresponding documentation of measurement results;
  
• Carrying out emission measurements including sampling, analysis, or sample shipment in accordance with TA-Luft and VDI guidelines;
  
• Monitoring and coordination of emission measurements by external measurement institutes;
  
• Creation and maintenance of environmental databases/documentation;
  

Requirements:

• 
  
• Successfully completed bachelor's degree in the field of environmental technology or comparable technical studies, alternatively successfully completed training as an environmental technician with professional experience;
  
• Professional experience in the field of environmental and permit management advantageous;
  
• Excellent knowledge of recording and documenting complex processes;
  
• Confident handling of MS Office and SAP as well as experience with databases;
  
• Very good written and spoken German and English language skills;
  
• Class B driving license;
  
• Confident, binding appearance towards internal and external customers;
  
• Independent way of working in combination with initiative and ability to work in a team;
  

What We Offer
