Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Specialist
Job Summary:
The Material Management Team at Lonza is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to support the strategic growth of the company in Visp. As a key member of the interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring quality requirements for raw materials in a GMP environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Quality Requirements: Ensure and maintain quality requirements for raw materials in a GMP environment.
- Raw Material Expertise: Responsible QA representative for raw material-specific aspects throughout the entire manufacturing process of a pharmaceutical product.
- Document Review: Responsible for reviewing and approving raw material-specific documents (QC plans, sampling instructions, material lists, etc.).
- Investigations and Deviations: Handling and supporting OOS investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and change control processes.
- Supplier Qualification: Support in supplier qualification activities.
- Regulatory Inspections: Subject matter expert during regulatory inspections and audits.
Requirements:
- Education: (B.Sc.) in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience: Experience in the GMP environment and the manufacture of "Drug Products" is an advantage.
- Communication Skills: High communication skills combined with assertiveness.
- Language Skills: Fluent German and English skills are required.
