Job Information

Galliker Transport is a leading logistics company with a comprehensive network of transportation and logistics services across its national and international operations. Our IT infrastructure is supported by custom-developed applications, which are maintained and expanded by our 50-strong IT department. We are now looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Setup and operation of CI/CD infrastructure
  • Setup and operation of logging, monitoring, and alerting infrastructure
  • Monitoring and alerting of applications and infrastructure, rapid detection and resolution of performance issues and errors
  • Integration of security requirements and controls into development and operational processes
  • Providing technical support and consulting to development and operational teams to resolve issues and find innovative solutions to technical challenges
  • Training development teams on DevOps environment topics
  • Continuous optimization of processes in software development and system administration
  • Active maintenance of collaboration and communication between development and operational teams
Requirements
  • Completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role in software development
  • Proven experience in container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) and CI/CD principles
  • Safe handling of version control systems (e.g. Git), automation tools, and cloud platforms (e.g. Azure)
  • Experience with C# and/or React is an advantage
  • Quick understanding, high analytical thinking, and abstraction ability
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and security-conscious
  • High communication skills, proven ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and adaptability
  • High willingness to learn
  • Excellent German and English language skills in writing and speaking
