We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health Specialist to support operations in the implementation and promotion of safety and environmental initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental health and safety, with experience in managing EHS inspection programs, conducting hazard recognition, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and manage EHS inspection programs, including regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and processes.
- Conduct hazard recognition and risk assessment to identify potential safety hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure employees understand their role in maintaining a safe working environment.
- Promote a culture of safety throughout the organization by communicating EHS policies and procedures to all employees.
- Collaborate with plant operations to continuously improve EHS compliance and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate safety hazards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
