We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Equipment Support Technician to join our team. As a Mobile Equipment Support Technician, you will be responsible for the safe and compliant operation of mobile equipment in our production environment.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring the availability of mobile equipment for production operations and coordinating its transfer and takeover. You will also be responsible for organizing the cleaning of mobile equipment, including hoses, and coordinating hose control checks.
You will work closely with production and support departments from Basel DS Manufacturing and service departments at the Basel site, particularly with engineering, workshop, manufacturing IT, and procurement.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Coordinate and collaborate with production and support departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure the availability of mobile equipment for production operations and coordinate its transfer and takeover.
- Organize the cleaning of mobile equipment, including hoses, and coordinate hose control checks.
- Operate wash stations according to production requirements, including cleaning, maintenance, and organization.
- Plan and coordinate workshop activities (trouble shooting, modifications, revisions).
- Audit, evaluate, and perform equipment change control in the SAP system.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Long-term experience in chemical production and cleaning of production plants.
- Good technical understanding and interest in the functionality of equipment.
- Completed vocational training.
- Motivation to learn and apply new things and willingness to improve processes while considering interfaces.
- Self-reliant working style and willingness to make decisions within your area of responsibility or high quality and safety awareness.
- Good communication skills in written and spoken German and proficient use of MS-Office, Veeva Quality, ELVIS, and SAP as well as Google applications.
