About the Job
This role is responsible for managing the company's international tax compliance, tax planning, and accounting for income and other direct and indirect taxes. You will work closely with corporate finance, international tax teams, and third-party consultants to ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with international tax regulations.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Oversee the completion of local country income tax filings and VAT returns, including review, analysis, and support.
  2. Manage and/or assist with local income tax and VAT audits, including preparing responses to information requests.
  3. Maintain withholding tax reconciliations and coordinate with external teams to receive supporting documents.
  4. Compile required government documents concerning taxes and offer solutions to pressing tax problems. Serve as the point of contact for coordinating issues with the US tax team and third-party advisors.
  5. Monitor legislative changes in foreign tax laws that may impact the Company's tax positions, including tax accounting implications.
  6. Liaise with third-party professionals, including solicitors, other accountants, tax advisors, and independent financial advisors.
  7. Manage the implementation of tax planning projects into the Company's tax operations process.
  8. Enable accurate and timely forecasting of the group tax rate and acceleration of tax reporting close.
  9. Assist with U.S. GAAP tax accounting matters, including review of foreign components of the effective tax rate and tax balance sheet accounts.
  10. Assist with transfer pricing analysis, including review and liaison with various internal parties on transfer pricing and management fee arrangements.
