Job Overview:

The successful candidate will lead plant operations in filling, assembly, and compounding, overseeing a team of 70-100 employees. They will ensure that operations consistently achieve targets in cost, quality, customer service, environmental health and safety, maintenance, utilization, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee production operations across Filling & Assembly, Compounding, and Maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Drive key metrics in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and the People Pillar through adherence to company safety policies and quality standards.
  • Coach, motivate, and empower the Operations Management Team to foster a culture of continuous improvement and achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Planning, Operational Excellence, CVE, and Plant Logistics to meet production targets and support new product launches.
  • Lead site and department strategy development aligned with Supply Chain Strategy, spearheading site-based initiatives.
  • Implement daily management systems and best practices to improve performance and maintain alignment with global KPIs.
  • Develop a sustainable organizational structure and ensure effective implementation of the manufacturing model and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field, with over 10 years of relevant experience in a comparable environment.
  • Fluency in English and German, enabling effective communication and leadership.

Work Experience and Skills:

  • Proven experience in manufacturing within similar industries, including exposure to GMP.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence (OpEx), and TPM principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and achieve budgets that support business objectives.
  • Skilled in establishing annual plans and projects to achieve performance goals.
  • Experience in hiring, training, and managing team members.
  • Commitment to upholding quality and safety standards.
  • Change management expertise.
  • Effective collaboration with supporting functions such as WH, QA, HR, and Finance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and industry-related software.
