Our primary objective is to drive groundbreaking research and innovation, achieving breakthroughs in future SoC for wireless base station. We seek a highly skilled SoC system expert to explore novel computing architectures for next-generation wireless systems and collaborate with cross-functional domain experts to analyze key architectural trade-offs.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing SoC systems to meet the evolving needs of wireless next-generation base station features and algorithms. We are looking for a candidate with exceptional SoC design skills and a passion for working on cutting-edge research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive technology breakthroughs by proposing methods to optimize CPU microarchitecture and SoC design, improving wireless system performance and capacity through software-hardware co-design and technical innovations.
  • Provide technology insights and planning, recognizing and understanding technology trends in scalar/vector/tensor computing theory and processor micro-architecture optimization, and proposing novel technologies to improve Performance, Power, and Area Efficiency, Flexibility, etc.
  • Collaborate with local resources (industry and academia) to effectively integrate local resources, forge long-term strategic partnerships, and build a good ecosystem and environment.
Requirements
  • MSc or PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, wireless communication, or related background.
  • Experience with CPU architecture.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in the area of chip design or wireless base station communication.
  • Strong background in hardware & software co-design, including microprocessor architecture for scalar/vector/tensor computing, job scheduling under heterogeneous parallel systems, memory/cache optimization for many-core systems, power consumption optimization, etc.
  • Experience in Wireless and Cellular technologies such as LTE/5G NR is preferred.
  • Good understanding of hardware-software interfaces and interactions. Experience in compiler technology is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills across organizations and at the executive level.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Chinese is a plus.
  • Excellent written skills for clear and concise reporting.
