Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Category Manager to join our team in La-Tour-De-Peilz, Switzerland. As a key member of our Procurement Division, you will be responsible for managing the commercial and sourcing activity for Rigid Packaging used by Nestlé worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Procurement Managers in defining and implementing category strategies on a regional level.
- Monitor and drive progress for cost initiatives, source to pay challenges, sustainability, and responsible sourcing initiatives.
- Manage the day-to-day procurement activities, RFx and contracting process for selected markets or businesses.
- Contribute to develop and execute the category strategy to deliver value to the business from cost improvements, sustainability activities, and ensuring supply.
- Ensure compliance with Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies, and standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, and/or Engineering.
- Confirmed experience in Procurement or Supply Chain.
- Ability to work in an international and complex environment.
- Strong command of Excel and at ease with SAP and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of National and International Procurement Regulations.
- Experience in ESG initiatives and knowledge of GHG emissions, understanding of Nestle ESG targets and requirements.
- Fluent in English, another language will be an asset.
