Job Description

  • As a Lead Fitness Instructor at Velocity, you will lead high-energy workouts, motivating participants to reach their fitness goals.
  • You will utilize your knowledge of music trends to create engaging playlists for our rides and power pilates sessions.
  • Strong communication skills and customer service expertise are essential for providing an exceptional experience for our members.
  • We require instructors who can work flexible hours, including weekends, mornings, nights, and some holidays.
  • A 4-week training program is provided, covering the Velocity method and equipping you with the skills needed to succeed in this role.


Requirements

  • Fluent English language proficiency is mandatory for effective communication with participants and team members.
  • Good physical fitness level is required to perform demanding workout routines.
  • Demonstrated dependability, reliability, and teamwork skills are essential for maintaining a positive and supportive studio environment.
  • A regular schedule commitment is necessary to ensure consistency in our programs.


Note that previous group fitness instruction experience is beneficial but not a strict requirement. We provide comprehensive training in the Velocity method.

  • To participate in a 10-minute audition to showcase your teaching style and musical taste.
  • To complete a 4-week training program (approximately 10-12 hours per week) to master the Velocity method.
  • Ongoing education, feedback, and reviews as part of our Velocity Team.
  • To provide proof of a valid Swiss working permit.

Estimated Salary: CHF 40,000 - CHF 55,000 per annum.
