Global Business Controller

Burckhardt Compression is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Head of Global Business Controlling for our Services division.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a proven track record of global finance management, strong leadership and management skills, and be able to work effectively in a matrix environment. The successful candidate will be part of the divisional leadership team and report directly to the President of the division.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and ensure the timely and accurate preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
- Coordinate the division's forecasting process, including the formulation, analysis, and review of forecasts for all departments within the division.
- Prepare divisional financial presentations to top management for monthly results and quarterly forecasts.
- Provide insights and benchmark on financial performance and challenge performance deviations.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business strategies.
- Actively drive further development of controlling/financial processes and tools, working closely with other departments and collaborating on strategic projects across departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Controlling, Finance, or a related field in a global manufacturing- and distribution environment.
- Proven experience in global financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Strong leadership and team management skills and proven experience in leading a team of Financial experts.
- Fluent in German & English.
- Strong understanding of international financial regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- IT and data affinity, along with excellent MS Office skills in Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Projects, SharePoint, and others.
