Senior Clinical Lead and Early Clinical Development Strategist

Ridgeline Discovery GmbH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Lead to drive the company's clinical development pipeline. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing clinical development strategies, working closely with program leaders, internal and external experts, and a Contract Research Organization (CRO).
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute clinical development plans, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy and goals.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, and Project Management, to ensure quality input and delivery in planning and execution of clinical trials.
- Regulatory Expertise: Participate in the creation of medical/clinical strategic plans for targeted clinical indications, ensuring compliance with ICH, GCP, and company policies.
- Data Integrity and Quality: Ensure the highest possible integrity and quality of collected trial data, collaborating with data management teams to secure accurate and reliable results.
- Process Development and Maintenance: Contribute to the development and maintenance of medical science and clinical development specific global standards, processes, SOPs, and quality control measures.
- Medical Background: Medical Doctor with a strong interest and exposure to cardiometabolic diseases.
- Experience and Expertise: Sound knowledge of early drug development and clinical trial processes, with a documented track-record of completed studies/trials/projects in which the candidate played a strategic leader, conceptualizer, designer, and implementer role.
- Regulatory and GCP Knowledge: Solid understanding of regulatory requirements/ICH guidelines and GCP, with hands-on experience with written communication with health authorities, Institutional Review Boards, and Ethical committees.
- Methodological Expertise: Familiarity with methodologies used to assess body composition, such as DEXA/CT/MRI, and commonly used/experimental biomarkers pertinent to body composition and related metabolic conditions.
- Highly Motivated and Agile: Highly motivated self-starter with a can-do attitude and passion for innovation, able to quickly track down, analyze, and synthesize new information from different sources.
- Excellent Communication and Teamwork Skills: Good planning skills, ability to anticipate next steps toward ultimate goals, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team/matrix of internal and external partners/collaborators/advisors.
