Job Title: Data Scientist - Digital Transformation LeaderSalary:

$120,000 per annum (estimated)

About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for an experienced Data Scientist to lead our digital transformation initiatives. You will work closely with senior leadership to define the innovation data strategy, leveraging data to support strategic decision-making and enhance innovation performance.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Data Strategy Development: Support senior leadership to define the innovation data strategy. Identify strategic opportunities where data can create value, improve efficiency, and drive competitive advantage.
  • Data Governance and Policy: Implement data governance frameworks, policies, and standards. Define data ownership, and data quality guidelines.
  • Business Intelligence (BI) Strategy: Design and implement BI solutions that empower decision-makers with actionable insights. Create executive dashboards and reports to track KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Advanced Analytics: Lead advanced statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and machine learning initiatives. Identify patterns, trends, and correlations in large datasets.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Machine Learning, Information Systems). PhD degree would be a plus.
  • More than 10 years of work experience in a similar position, in an industrial sector.
  • Proficiency in machine learning and AI modelling. Proficiency in data visualization and storytelling (e.g., Power BI).
  • Experience in Azure Cloud solutions. Experience in data analytics and mining programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB, SQL).
