About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a PhD researcher in the field of lower-field cardiac magnetic resonance imaging.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development of novel MR pulse sequence designs, image reconstruction techniques, and data inference methods using classical and physics-informed machine learning approaches.
This research aims to advance time-resolved morphological and functional imaging of the heart, with applications in both research and clinical settings.
The work will involve numerical simulations, experimental measurements on volunteers, and data analysis.
In collaboration with the team and clinical partners, we plan to obtain example data in patients to populate digital twins and evaluate the diagnostic value of lower-field deep CMR imaging.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you should have a Master of Science degree with first-class grades in electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, computer science, or physics.
A strong background in medical imaging physics, signal processing, and programming skills (C, Matlab/Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch) are essential.
You should also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to develop own lines of thought, critically interpret data, and drive innovation.
