- Lead the Facility Management & General Services including energy management with KPI measures for costs, energy use and waste management and improve these KPIs set for this area.
- Create and manage the budget for the respective cost center including administration of contracts, invoices, etc.
- Manage office infrastructure e.g. planning and maintenance of desk allocations as well as of office and meeting rooms interior design.
- Ensure the efficient use of resources for building and laboratory technology in the required quality.
- Be the responsible and representative person for building tenancy and tenant meetings; main contact for external service providers, technical services, authorities, and neighbors.
- Supervise third-party service providers when carrying out their activities on site.
- Commercial apprenticeship (KV)/commercial training with a technical background and/or a degree in related business, engineering, property or equivalent.
- Qualification in Facility Management and project management.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience; experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry would be beneficial.
- Very good language skills in English; knowledge in French is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, with a friendly nature, enjoying dealing with people.
- High service and customer orientation, discretion and flexibility, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills at different levels are required.
- Ability to solve technical problems providing various options for remediation and to provide reports and business case evaluations.
