Senior Embedded Instrument Control Software Validation Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Instrument Control Software Validation Engineer to join our team at ITech Consult AG.
About the Role:
As a Senior Embedded Instrument Control Software Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our embedded instrument control software. This involves planning, creating, and executing test cases based on product and technical requirements.
You will also be responsible for documenting performed tests, analyzing generated data, logs, and results to gain insights. Additionally, you will track issues and verify bug fixes, troubleshoot within R&D, and support production.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in development and testing of software in an agile setup, preferably within a hardware near environment
- Proven expertise and knowledge of software test automation and programming skills
- Technical knowledge of software and mechatronics
- Team player with good communication skills and a proactive working style
- Experience with Linux in a professional environment
- Willingness to learn new things and go the extra mile
- Fluency in English (written and spoken), German is an asset
