Senior Treasury Manager

About the Role

This is a high-profile position that requires an experienced finance professional to lead complex corporate treasury projects and develop strategies to optimize cash flows, manage risks, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and develop complex corporate treasury projects, including cash pool development, payment centralization, and FX exposure analysis.
  • Oversee the application of best practices for cash management and optimize cash flows across multiple entities and currencies.
  • Develop processes and drive continuous improvement in areas of responsibility.
  • Contribute to risk management and provide input on identified risks with Treasury Controlling, Risk Management, and Balance Sheet Portfolio Manager.
  • Work independently, reviewing data, reports, and Treasury tools to ensure output reflects risks.
  • Act as a counterparty to external stakeholders, mainly financial institutions, and internal departments regarding Treasury topics.
  • Support Group Treasury Team, Group Controlling, and Accounting teams with complex requests and information.

Requirements

  • A proven track record of at least 5-7 years in Finance, Corporate Treasury, Accounting, or Banking, preferably in a team lead role.
  • A quantitative and analytical mindset, accurate working style, committed personality, ability to cope with a steep learning curve, and work independently with limited supervision.
  • Sound understanding of financial statements and quick grasp of business processes and related financial implications.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; sound knowledge of German is an advantage.
  • A Master's Degree in Finance or similar education.
  • Experience in SAP, BI reporting, and Treasury applications is beneficial.
