As a Financial Manager at Michael Page, you will play a key role in supporting the CFO in financial modeling, budgeting, and long-term business planning. You will analyze financial and business performances, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure compliance with financial processes.

Business Co-Piloting & Planning

You will support the CFO in elaborating the business long-term strategy and constructively challenge roadmap and plans through robust fact-based analysis.

Financial Performance Management

You will track monthly financial performances vs budget, identify gaps and opportunities, and close the gap initiatives. You will also support the CFO and management in the monthly financial closing and forecasting processes in collaboration with the accounting department.

Investment Analysis & Business Intelligence

You will ensure pre- and post-evaluation of major investments to secure an adequate level of return on financial investments and drive continuous improvement. You will also analyze market trends and report on non-financial performance indicators.

Operational Performance & Compliance

You will support the leadership team in identifying targets, gathering and compiling insights on targets, constructing and prioritizing the M&A pipeline, and planning, building business cases, conducting due diligences, and following up on performances.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree/MSc degree in Corporate Finance - CPA is a plus
  • Fluent in English
  • 10+ years in finance controlling - experience in the sports industry is a strong plus
  • People management experience
  • Experience creating data models and financial models
  • Advanced proficiency in Office tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - experience in consulting is a plus
  • Soft skills: excellent business acumen, excellent communicator with strong written and presenting skills, comfortable presenting to/C-level management, quick learner with a can-do attitude, self-motivated, resilient, persuasive, and very well organized with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
